Rapper Cardi B has just come out to defend drugging and robbing men during her stripping days and Twitter has come alive with reactions to this latest information.
Recall we had reported that the rapper was slammed for drugging and robbing men during her stripping days, an accusation she has since responded to.
According to the mum of one, she has to commit these crimes as she had no choice back then, she needed to survive hence her reason for robbing men.
“I had to go strip, I had to go, ‘Oh yeah, you want to f–k me? Yeah, yeah, yeah, let’s go back to this hotel,’ and I drugged n—–s up, and I robbed them. That’s what I used to do,” she explained.
“So I’m seeing on social media that [an Instagram] live I did 3 years ago has popped back up. A live where I talked about things I had to do in my past right or wrong that I felt I needed to do to make a living“I never claim (sic) to be perfect or come from a perfect world wit (sic) a perfect past I always speak my truth I always own my s–t.”
There are rappers that glorify murder violence drugs an (sic) robbing. Crimes they feel they had to do to survive,” she said. “I never glorified the things I brought up in that live I never even put those things in my music because I’m not proud of it and feel responsibility not to glorify it.”
Now while some Twitter users see reasons with her, others have called her out for the crime.
Check out some of the reactions below;
You never grew up in the hood? GTFOH. Morals exist or *CAN* exist anywhere. Let's not play the victim card for poor ole Cardi B based on where she grew up. And I don't even like Tomi…or Cardi.

The same niggas who on the send Cardi to jail bandwagon are the SAME ones who were victim blaming with the R. Kelly situation. “If Cardi B was a guy it’d be different”. NO IT WOULDNT. Robert is a male and y’all jumped to twitter just to tell us y’all still listening to his music

#SurvivingCardiB At the same time lets not excuse the men who approached @iamcardib for sex fully knowing she was a prostitute. Couldn't they just meet a girl and build a relationship like normal people? Lets not play the victim when the consequences were self inflicted. #CardiB

My issue with it is, the fact Bill Cosby was ACCUSED for drugging and raping women where as she admitted it herself and I’ve yet to hear of any repercussions. Gender equality? https://t.co/QZpKJJpRNb

I just wish Cardi B would shut the fuck up sometimes. None of the shit she says NEEDS to be said. Always wanting to be the fucking victim. Just make your music & go. #SurvivingCardiB

Used to love her but then she broke out and continuously played the victim card whilst being transphobic amongst other things. Nicki Minaj is the queen of rap and her ring finger is more talented than Cardi B is.
and that's the tea https://t.co/4WnkPccM3h

No one suffer consequences When Black Men the victim so ain’t nothing happening to Cardi B yall gonna be outraged for a few minutes and go back to your regularly scheduled program and find any false stereotype that will justify not giving a fuck ,”well Black men do this or that”

Sad at the limited coverage I see of Cardi B admitting that she used to drug and rob men using sex. A victim is a victim regardless of gender. #survivingCardi

Translation: "I did it. Im not proud but Ima blame the victim a little for why I robbed them. Other people do this or worse all the time. These weren't good guys ANYWAY, but forgive me that was in my past"… Girl bye 👋🏽 #SurvivingCardiB

Sexual assault is a real issue in this country it happens every day, Cardi b was a sex worker (yes even as a stripper) which put her at an even higher risk of being a victim of sexual assault, y’all think she was gonna leave the spot with any rando for money?

So Cardi B drugs and robs men, admits to it, and Twitter justifies it with "Yeah, well they were johns and she needed the money so it's fine?" I guess a man can't be a victim of anything if a woman is the perpetrator. Toxic femininity must not exist. #SurvivingCardiB

She clearly said had threesomes with drugged raped victim with victim not knowing other “female” was a tranny. Once again drugged victim cannot give consent to sex willingly. If so bill Cosby is innocent. It’s rape.

Cardi B drugged and robbed men 3-4 years ago when she worked in clubs. But she’s playing victim, was kama doing what she had to do to survive. The gender of never being wrong strikes again. Imagine if a male entertainer admitted to such.

Cardi B is trying to use the same justification people use for murdering prostitutes. “Well they already committed a crime so it’s ok for me to do the same” it’s called “horseshoe theory”, a form of victim blaming. https://t.co/pMSioigX8k

Before I forget, Cardi B is cancelled. Was never really a fan but she's cancelled completely now. It's sad that her victim(s) do(es)n't want to press charges, cos that means she doesn't get to go to jail.
She's cancelled nonetheless.

So @iamcardib uses her female victim status as an excuse to victimize men to escape her situation. What. Is she aware she could have killed someone? How can she be celebrated one more minute after this admission? Nothing heroic about her story if this is true. #SurvivingCardiB

Cardi b came out to say she drugged and robbed men in her#SurvivingCardib clip, if Nicki Minaj said that, she'll be dragged, but that's not the case, imagine a black male Artiste said that?? private investigators and lawyers will build a case asap😩get some girl to play victim
