Nigerians generally have a great sense of humor.
We love to laugh and thanks to social media, we do not have to wait for the comedy shows or the reality TV programs before we see hilarious acts anymore. By simply opening an app – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or YouTube, you see some of the funniest things that can keep you laughing all day.
Instagram has given a platform for many comedians out there to showcase their crafts and acts. Top comic acts like Gloria Oloruntobi (@maraji_), Wofai (@wofaifada), Emmanuel Iwueke (@crazeclown), Henry Obiefule (@chief_obi) and even Folarin Falana (@falzthebahdguy), all started by posting short funny videos on the gram. Now these people have gone on to make themselves top figures in the entertainment industry. Unfortunately, this also means they have become busier and are not as active as they used to be on IG.
