Top 10 Movies in 2019 we are Hyped About

2018 saw us being blessed with some epic movies and 2019 has started off great as some really great movies have so far been released.

Here are the top 10 movies we’re hyped about.

Us – March 15

The movie stars award-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke. Us tells the story of a couple visiting a childhood home. The Peele produced movie is a psychological thriller, that we are more than grateful for.

Avengers: Endgame – April 26

This movie had many shaking in their boots when it came out Thanos killed half of the characters we love while the rest were left extremely traumatized and/or trapped in space! Really great movie.

Men in Black: International – June 14

The movie stars Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson who are Men in Black agents that centres on tracking aliens on Earth. Another fire movie.

Toy Story 4 – June 21

The fourth Toy Story movie is coming a decade after it’s last and this is a film that can only be described as perfect. This 4th one sees the toys returning and joined by an adorable spork.

The Lion King – July 19

Phew! We waited so long for this movie which stars the almighty Beyonce and as expected, no we were not disappointed.

It: Chapter II – Sept. 6

The movie stars top acts such Bill Hader as Richie and Jessica Chastain as Beverly. Bill Skarsgård reprised his role as the demon Pennywise.

The Kitchen – Sept. 20

Imagine putting these funny women together in a movie, of course, it will be one downright perfect movie. Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, and Elisabeth Moss work together as mob wives in the 1970s in this crime movie. These ladies took over the neighborhood after their husbands are taken into custody by the FBI.

Last Christmas – Nov. 15

So we have Emilia Clarke. Henry Golding. Michelle Yeoh. Rom-com, of course, one can expect perfection and a bloody good time watching this movie.

Star Wars Episode IX – Dec. 20

This is the final instalment of the trilogy which started in 2015 and we are hoping we get closure on what happens to Rey, Finn, Poe, and Kylo Ren as well as the fate of the Jedi and the First Order.

Always Be My Maybe – TBD

This beautiful movie has Wong and Randall Park as childhood sweethearts who reconnect after 15 years apart. Keanu Reeves, Daniel Dae Kim, Michelle Buteau, Karan Soni, and more are some of the stars in this movie. Yes it is a must watch
