Your clothes must fit, they should not be too tight or too loose, they must be exactly right. From your dress shirt, blazers, pants and even ties. Don’t wear baggy clothes and pick the one that has a good fit over it being fashionable.
It’s not just what you wear, but when to wear it, that makes all the difference: When they say smart casual, don’t go and do black tie. When the dress code is trendy and fun, do not wear your traditional attire and then be filling fly. Consider the event and dress appropriately.
Know everything you need to when buying a suit: For the love of everything good and fitting, do not just go out and pick any kind of suit without knowing all there is to know about your body type and fitting. In fact, if you are boxed up enough, have one specially fitted for you, at least one.
If you’re gonna splash out on a suit, better get one that fits: A good suit shoulder, jacket closure, jacket sleeve length, trouser break, jacket length, jacket length, sleeve pitch should be just right, not too big or too small.
Get your shoe game tight: Once your shoe game is on point, consult a guide to match your pants with the proper footwear. Know when to wear loafers, all-stars, and even toms. You should not be caught wearing the wrong shoes with your trousers.
What to look for in watches: I know some of you do not know this, so let me break it down for you. There are different kind of wristwatches, there are Diver, Sport, Dress, Aviator, Retro and Fashion watches and then watches have different shapes which include Round, Cushion, Tonneau, Rectangle, Square, Curved and Oval. So you see that you have a large variety to choose from.
