The Grammy Award-winning rapper who had announced earlier this year that she would be coming to perform in Africa has finally touched down in Lagos. In a video posted on social media, Cardi can be seen descending from her private jet amidst her team and crew members.
It had been reported earlier that she would be coming over for a two-day festival that would hold in Lagos and Ghana. Ever since, fans have been anticipating her visit and it seems she has finally granted them their wishes.

This would be Cardi B’s first visit to Africa. She joins a list of foreign celebs who have visited Nigeria in the past. Just last year, chart-topping rapper J Cole thrilled Nigerians when he arrived for his much-anticipated concert at Eko Hotels and Suites. We’ve also seen the likes of 50 Cent,

Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, and Major Lazer visit Nigeria in the past. No doubt, many of these stars have a large fan base in Nigeria so this is definitely one of the reasons why they love Nigeria.
To welcome Cardi B, Nigerian singer Davido shared a video of the rapper dancing to his song in the plane which he captioned: “Welcome home”.
