Thursday December 19, 2019, was not such a great day for folks who turned up at Muri Okunola Park for the Nativeland concert, The event ended in a disaster as the VIP section collapsed, leaving many injured.
Many attendees who had their night ruined due to the incident have since expressed their displeasure in the organisers’ failure to prepare well for the event. They also called them out for their apology which, for them, only added insult to injury.

According to the organisers, the large crowd at the venue was overwhelmed their security personnel, allowing multiple unticketed entries. They also tendered an apology to everyone who was affected by incident. However, the apology didn’t go down well with many who have slammed them on Twitter.
