Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi has become Nigeria’s most expensive footballer after joining Everton FC for a record-breaking signing of £30m. Iwobi, who is now a former Arsenal star, made his move to Everton on English summer transfer deadline day, August 8, 2019.
Speaking on the transfer in a statement, Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, said:
Alex has made a big contribution here at Arsenal. He worked hard in the academy where he was an example to many young players and has been an important part of our squad. We wish Alex every success in the future,”
