It is no longer news that singer Waje may be contemplating quitting the music industry.
A video of the Onye crooner surfaced on social media platforms yesterday showing her complain about just how much work and money is been pumped into her music career, yet nothing is forthcoming.
Nigerians have since taken to Twitter to react to this with many showing their support for the vocal powerhouse.
Read some of the reactions below;
You say Waje didn't work hard as if success comes from hard work. If it did how come you're not successful?

Just saw Waje’s video and I can feel what she’s been through, just by paying attention to the emotions in her voice. Can the world ever be patient with people? Please. These superstars are not magicians, they are human, their industry is difficult too. Comfort them, send them…

That's why you see alot of artistes here in Naija singing thrash and they are making money off it. Creative Singers like Waje will definitely make so much money but might not be now. We are getting there,cos there was a time we had no market at all…!

Same Nigerians who demand "good music" & claim Wizkid & co should perform live music for them are the same ones who unlook the unbelievably talented Waje to the point that she is considering quitting music.Most people just talk.Most times,they don't even know what they want.

I feel sorry for Nigeria. Creatives like Waje don't get appreciated and never really get the right kind of support in a place like Nigeria. Nigeria is the problem here, not Waje. Our system sucks. A system that downgrades the very best but promotes the fake and the empty! https://t.co/sliPjuqEIe

In developed countries, Waje's album will be topping the chart in grossing sales right now and in the weeks to come. But this is Nigeria.

Dear Waje,
Stay strong. It's just a phase. You'll get over it, learn new ways to ace this thing and shine even brighter.
Gosh! I know where you're coming fro 😭

Only Nigerians can be funny enough to think Waje is failing cos she didn't sing about sex, alcohol and drugs.🤦🤦

I can't understand better than her though. But I think #Waje got a decent career and her part in project fame, Glo endorsement etc so I am sure Rebranding will be OK!! Also her management need to wake up, she have to make an album and get sponsors/Label being an house hold name. https://t.co/fYVl1iebHi

Waje is one of the best vocal artists in Nigeria and would be missed if truly she quits.
