American rapper Juice Wrld known for his 2018 hit “Lucid Dreams” has died. The 21-year-old died after experiencing a medical emergency at Chicago’s Midway airport on Sunday, December 8, 2019.
According to the reports, he was rushed to a hospital Sunday morning after the unspecified medical emergency and was pronounced dead at 3:14 a.m. The rapper suffered a seizure while walking through the airport after his flight from California landed.
Juice Wrld, whose real name is Jarad Anthony Higgins, began releasing music on Soundcloud in 2015 and his song “Lucid Dreams” reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2018. The rapper’s music genre had an interesting mix of hip-hop, emo rap, and trap music. His music was inspired by artists such as XXXtentacion, Lil Yachty, and Post Malone.
Juice Wrld celebrated his 21st birthday six days before his death and his fans, as well as colleagues in the industry, have expressed their grief over the loss of a fast rising star who had a big career ahead of him.

An autopsy was scheduled to be performed on Monday and the cause of his death is still inconclusive.
