Mavin’s star Rema is currently one of the most successful fast-rising acts in the music industry. With the release of his album Iron Man, he gained massive attention and now, his biggest fan is no other than the ex-president of the United States, Barack Obama.
In a tweet he posted on August 24, 2019, Obama revealed the playlist he and his wife, Michelle, have been listening to for the summer.
“With summer winding down, here’s a sampling of what Michelle and I have been listening to — some new, some old, some fast, some slow. Hope you enjoy,” he tweeted.

Rema’s Iron Man happened to be number 42 on the list among other playlists by international acts such as Drake, Jay Z, Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott, Frank Sinatra, Rihanna, DJ Khaled, and Robin Thicke.
Of course, many Nigerians were thrilled to discover the “Dumebi” crooner made Obama’s Playlist.
