'Men Have No Excuse To Be Poor' - Lizzy Gold states, who agrees?

Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold has gotten tongues wagging following her recent post on social media which stated that no man is allowed to be poor as they all are expected to work hard and make money.

The actress continued saying she has zero tolerance for lazy men and can never marry one.

‘I ‘ve zero tolerance for poor men..do a legit job ..work hard ..you ‘ve no excuse to be poor.even in the bible it is stated that Man must till the ground .stop been lazy and stop depending on people to survive.. If you don’t have money do not get married even my brothers are not exempted from this advice.’

‘Ladies, pls even if you are financially independent and strong, if you don’t see an average hardworking man or rich man do not marry..I repeat do not marry a poor man..marriage is not compulsory do not allow society to pressurize you into marriage..life is too short to live a sad life.’

Her post has since caused a lot of debate online as many are of the opinion that her feeling of entitlement is synonymous with women resulting in many women being bashed online.

Lizzy who has always found herself in the news for her controversial point of views about many things a while back, also made it clear she is not psychologically ready for marriage.

The actress who is a mum of one spoke about her baby daddy in an interview and addressed rumors surrounding his status.

“Rumours is always sweet to paddle in a canoe by some peeps, continue paddling d canoe until you go hit rock con break your neck join (laughs). I was raised in a Christian home, and I will never come in between someone else’s home for those curious lovers bombarding my emails with questions.

“My baby daddy is single and I am as real I nor sabi pretend for those who know me, if I love you I love you if I don’t love you, trust me I nor go send you. Dey say make your bed the way you choose to sleep on it, na ma bed I dey make so, go and make yours.”

Lizzy then went on to state clearly that she is not psychologically ready for marriage.

“Single but not searching, not psychologically ready for marriage now for those curious friends. I love my life.”
