The actress who has been in the industry for many years, in an interview revealed how her journey started in the movie world.

In her words;

That dates way back to when I was five, I used to be taken to the cinemas with a friend we used to call the bourgeoisie kid. We watched Michael Jackson, Cleo Patra and it became a natural thing to think it was what I wanted to do. So I trained for it, starting as a trainee actor later to become a semi-professional actor before I went to school. In my first year as an undergraduate, I appeared in my first film, ‘Money Power‘, and my first soap opera ‘Mirror in the Sun‘ was when I was leaving the university.

On a role she has never played and she wishes she could, she said;

I would like to play the role of a woman by the roadside who is selling boli with about six kids at home and an alcoholic husband and she has to bring sanity to all of that. I have interviewed such women in the course of my work with the initiative and I really admire the tenacity of women like that because I don’t have it.

Clarion Chukwura dated her colleague Wale Adebayo despite being older than the actor. The love birds hit the limelight after playing lead roles in the film, Sango many years ago. It was reported that the relationship had been on for a while before it eventually came out in the open.

The beautiful veteran once dated Afro-juju maestro Shina Peters. The singer impregnated the actress and they had ace music video director Clarence Peters. The actress reportedly met the singer on the set of the Nigerian series, Money Power.
