Arguably the best player in the world, or at least one of the best, Cristiano Ronaldo dos Dantos Aveiro ‘CR7’ is nothing short of a living legend in the game of football.

Currently plying his trade in the Italian league, C Ronaldo has played for some of the biggest clubs and in the highest rated leagues in the world, smashing old records and creating new records in his wake.

The 5-time World’s Best Player, Cristiano Ronaldo, earlier this week added to his trophy cabinet when he won his first major trophy in Italy by leading Juventus to victory over arch rivals AC Milan in the Italian Super Cup.

The talisman  – who made his big money move to Juventus from Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer, scored the only goal in the match to help his team become the Italian SuperCoppa champions.

Having led his former teams to cup glory in the best, we were not surprised that Juventus had to look to their new forward for the winning goal in the 2018 Italian Super Cup. This is not his first stint, and probably won’t be his last. “CR7” as he is popularly called has time and time again found ways to get those crucial goals for his different club teams in important final games.

  1. 2008 UEFA Champions League Final

It took only 26 minutes for Cristiano to find the net in his first UEFA Champions League Final match for Manchester United against Chelsea. Chelsea later equalized and the match winner was decided by penalties.

Although CR7 had his penalty saved, Manchester united still went on to win 6-5 on penalties.

  1. 2011 Copa Del Rey Final

After leaving Manchester United in 2009, CR7 turned up the heat in Spain as he helped Real Madrid complete a local double by scoring the only goal in the Copa Del Rey final against Barcelona.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the second goal in the first Leg of the 2012 Supercopa de España to put his side back in the match and hopeful of winning the cup.

He found the net again in the 2012 Supercopa de España second leg match at the Santiago Bernabeu, scoring the first goal as The Los Blancos ended the night by winning the cup on the away goals rule against arch rivals, Barcelona.

Ronaldo wrapped up the scoring for Real Madrid in a thrilling 4 -1 win against fellow Spanish rivals Atletico Madrid in the Lisbon 2014 UCL Final.

Then CR7 grabbed a brace by scoring in each half as Real Madrid triumphed 2 -0 over Europa League winners, Sevilla in Cardiff City.

C Ronaldo put in a superb performance by scoring a hat-trick to lift Real Madrid over Kashima Antlers in the 2016 CWC Finals.

Ronaldo banged in two goals against Juventus in the 2017 UCL Final, making history as the first person to score for 3 different clubs in 3 different UCL Finals.

After switching to another one of Europe’s top 5 leagues, CR7 continued in terrific form of scoring in Finals by heading in the only goal against AC Milan in the final of the Italian Super Cup match.
