Jussie Smollett’s Empire Scenes Removed Over Staged Attack Allegations

Hollywood singer and actor, Jussie Smollett has reportedly gotten a massive reduction in his role’s appearance in the Television series, Empire.

According to reports, Smollett got this reduction as a result of the allegations of staging his last month homophobic and racist attack leveled against him. The talented actor reported that he was victim of an alleged racist and homophobic attack by two men on Tuesday, 29th of January.

He said that the attack – which happened around 2 a.m involved two men who put a noose around his neck, hit him in the face, poured an unknown substance on him and yelled homophobic and racial words.

Since news of the attack, Smollett had received several supports from fans and other artistes all around the world including our own Stella Damascus and Tonto Dike.

However, fresh reports on Monday point fingers at the actor himself as the master mind behind the attack. The U.S police had on Wednesday last week, arrested two Nigerian brothers, Ola and Abimbola Osundairo, in connection to the attack. The brothers were then released on Friday without a charge and authorities claimed the investigation had ‘taken a new light’.

But reports came out on Monday that the brothers, aged 25 and 27, had confessed to having planned the staged attack with the Empire actor. As report which the actor’s lawyers have called absurd.

Anyways, TMZ, yesterday published reports that Jussie Smollett has already started getting the effect of his alleged ‘staged attack’.

According to them, Smollett who plays the role of “Jamal” in the hit TV series, Empire was supposed to have nine scenes and a big musical number in the second to the last episode.
