HOW TO: Delicious Veggie Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms

Here is a wonderful recipe that is really tasty and will keep you going all day long. Full of lots of nutrients found in green leafy veggies that will alkalize your body… and it’s full of Vitamins, A (more than 500% of your RDA of Vitamin A), C (More than 200%), and B6 and K (About 700%) and also calcium, manganese, and potassium.

Also contains iron for building up your red blood cells and preventing anemia and boosting up vitality. Also lutein for eye health and for preventing macular degeneration, and helps with inflammation and helps to prevent cancer.

Another Whole-Foods Plant-Based Recipe

Ingredients:

3 – Large Organic Portobello Mushrooms – Stem Removed — keep the stem for the stuffing.

For Stuffing

15 – Oz of Cooked Organic Garbanzo Beans — Mashed

1 – Cup of Organic Yellow Corn Flour

1/3 – Cup of Organic Tapioca Flour

1 – Cup of Organic Kale – Chopped

2 – Cups of Organic Sun-Dried Tomatoes – Chopped

1 – Salt-Free Organic Veggie Bouillon Cube

1 – Cup of Organic Nutritional Yeast — gives this a nice nutty cheesy flavor

1/2 – Teaspoon of Organic Onion Powder

1/2 – Teaspoon of Organic Oregano Powder

1/2 – Teaspoon of Organic Sage Powder

1 – Tablespoon of Mrs. Dash Seasoning

Salt and Pepper to Taste

Enough Filtered Water to Mix the Stuffing

(Optional) – If you like it spicy add hot sauce

Take the mushrooms and remove the stems and chop them up for use in the stuffing.

Take all the rest of the ingredients and the chopped mushroom stems and mix them together with enough filtered water to make a firm stuffing.

Mound the stuffing into the open mushrooms.

Place in a 400-Degree oven for 45 minutes or until the stuffing starts to brown.

Or you can place each mushroom in an Air-Fryer for 20 minutes on High.

Allow to cool and cut in half and serve with a nice green salad.

Serves 6 people – 1/2 of one of these mushrooms is very filling.
