It would amaze you that the popular bubbling Nollywood actress- Kate Henshaw clocked 48 a few weeks ago. Yes you heard me right. Surprised? It feels hard to believe because she is still the young, vibrant and agile Kate Henshaw we have always known. She’s definitely loved in the industry and this played out during her 48th birthday, on the 19th of July were many described her as “kind hearted” and others said she genuinely deserved such show of love.

The emotional actress shed some tears on her birthday as she was in awe of the surprises and numerous gifts she got on her day as one of her messages reads:-

Kate Henshaw has starred in over 45 Nollywood movies since her acting career began in 1993 with the movie When the Sun sets. She has also made impeccable achievements, some of which are emerging as the best actress in the Africa Movie Academy Award 2008, for featuring in the movie “Stronger than Pain”. Furthermore, she was a judge on Nigeria’s Got Talent and “The Face of Onga” amongst many other achievements.
A brief history of Kate Henshaw shows that she was born on the 19th of July, 1971 in Cross River State. She studied Microbiology at the School of Medical Lab Science, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH in Lagos. She was formerly married to Roderick James Nuttal, they had a daughter from the marriage – Gabrielle Nuttall, and after 12 years into the marriage, they both went their separate ways in 2011, on grounds of infidelity.
