Grace was born on February 23, 1986, in Lagos state
The actress is a native of Ebunwana-Etta in Ebonyi State.
She had both her primary and secondary school education in Lagos before proceeding to the University of Lagos where she bagged a degree in Creative Arts
Grace made her acting debut at the age of 13 in a movie titled ”Chains’ produced by Louis Isikaku in 1999.
She hit the limelight with her role in Teco Benson’s movie, “Elastic Limit,” and popular television series, “Super Story (One Bad Apple),”
Grace is a mother of one. Her son’s name is Samuel, and she welcomed him in 2011.
She has bagged many awards to include Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.
The actress took a break after giving birth to her son but returned. According to her she fasted and prayed before she returned.”Actually, it was a lot of work. It wasn’t easy. A lot of fasting and praying went into my decision to return to Nollywood. I had to wait on the Lord, because I had to hear from Him. It suddenly looked as if the name, Grace Amah, wasn’t ringing a bell anymore. It was not easy.“At some point, I was calling producers and directors. Even the people I knew or used to work with did not seem to be of help. This was the situation until I got a call from Mary Remmy. Since then, I have done several jobs.”
