Chelsea’s Top 6 Defeats in the Premier League

Former English Premier League champions, Chelsea Football Club were thrashed 4-0 by AFC Bournemouth in their last outing at the Vitality Stadium on Wednesday night.

This was the clubs heaviest defeat this season and under new manager, Mauricio Sarri. The results deals a massive blow to their top 4 finish hopes as it leaves them on the same point with Arsenal in 5th and just two points ahead of Manchester United in 6th.

This defeat is not the first time Chelsea has conceded four goals and lost by at least a three goal margin in the premier league history, and maybe it won’t be the last. We don’t know! But what we do know is that Chelsea has now been defeated in this manner 7 times since the English top flight football league was restructured and the Premier League started in 1992/93 season.
