For the past couple of days, many states in Nigeria have experienced a power outage. The reason for this blackout was not know until the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) announced that they had commenced a nationwide strike which took effect on Wednesday , December 11, 2019.
According to one of the nation’s power distribution companies (Discos), Ikeja Electric, “the grievances of the union are directed at the federal government and the entire power sector.”
The strike was expected to hold until the electricity union and the federal government reach some form of agreement.
However, in a positive turn of events, the electricity company revealed on Thursday, December 12, 2019, that they had suspended the strike that caused a blackout in many parts of the country for 24 hours.

We are in 2019 guys, and NEPA still embarks on strike in this part of the world, later they will say we are progressing.
However be more conscious, stay vigilant and guide your properties jealously as NEPA is going to keep us in darkness. You know what this means !!!
