In the world of today, digital and technological advancements are the order of the day. Machines are now being programmed to do work for people at a much faster and efficient rate. Robots with Artificial Intelligence (A.I) have been created and programmed to interact with humans like humans.
However, some people have gone a step further by creating robots who look and act completely human. Some of them appear so real that you may actually find it hard to believe that they are robots. I have compiled a list of 5 of these robots that look completely human. Take a look:
- Miim
One of the few robots to have walked the runway, Miim is a HRP-4C robot. It has a human-like appearance, can show human facial expressions, walks like a real person, and can sing and reply speech.
- Sophia
This robot became a citizen of Saudi Arabia in 2017. That just tell you how human like it is. Sophia can recognize faces, communicate efficiently and hold eye contact with people.
- Yang Yang
Developed in 2015, yang yang is a humanoid. It is controlled by a human sitting in a nearby computer and it mimics the human’s actions like body movement and even facial expressions.
- Fred
This guy really does look like a human being. It is capable of fluid body movements and can interact with humans fluently. It can also mimic people with stunning accuracy, including their facial expressions.
- Jia Jia
With smooth body movement, human like appearance and body height, natural eye movement and appearance of speaking, you will not be faulted for thinking that this machine is a real Chinese woman.
