BBNaija: Top Five 2018 Contestants That Have Remained Relevant in the Media

The biggest reality TV show in Nigeria, Big Brother Naija, is just around the corner and people are going agog over it.

The auditions for this year’s contestants where held across the nation on the 1st and 2nd of this month with massive crowd of people turning up at each venue.

While we earnestly await the revealing of this year’s contestants, let us take a look at the top 5 contestants still making media waves from last year’s edition.

  1. BamBam

Bamike Olawunmi popularly known as BamBam has never left the spotlight since she stepped into the house. From getting her beauty skin care product sold out barely hours after being evicted from the show, to her sizzling hot romance with fellow former housemate, Teddy A, Bambam has taken the media glare and made it hers. She has also featured in several movies, music videos and adverts since leaving the bbnaija house.

  1. Nina

Nina whose full name is Nina Ivy Onyenobi has also stayed relevant in the media scene since she left the house. This is thanks to her endorsement deals, her store and her famous run-ins with Nigeria’s male Barbie, Bobrisky and media personality Toyin Lawani. She was also loved by the media for her relationship with BBN 2018 winner, Miracle, but that relationship has since ended.

  1. Alex

One of the fans favorite housemate in the 2018 edition of BBNaija was Sandra Asogwa popularly known as “Alex”. This 22-year old dancer, model and actress has remained a hot topic in the media due to her several endorsement deals, stints as a red carpet host, judge in dancing shows and just the love of her fans. She recently trended on twitter when her fans launched a #PrayForAlex campaign to wish hher well.

  1. Cee-C

The most controversial housemate of last year’s edition, Cynthia Nwadiora never left the spotlight after the conclusion of the reality show. This sexy diva immediately received numerous endorsement deals and even landed roles in Nollywood movies. Her rumored relationship with former housemate “Leo” has also kept tongues wagging and the media can’t just get enough of her. As well as her fans!

  1. Tobi Bakre

The only guy to make this list, Tobi is the real spotlight king. Since he left the Big Brother Naija house, he has gone on to make a name for himself in the entertainment scene. Taking on several stints including being the host of ‘The Future Awards 2018’ and most recently, starring in ace film-maker, Kunle Afolayan’s new upcoming movie, “Mokalik”.

 

Notable mentions are Teddy A, Ifu Ennada and Miracle.

We are waiting to see the new stars the 2019 edition (which commences in a month’s time) will bring to us.
