If you want to look slimmer in pictures, you have to avoid being photographed head-on. Turn slightly to the side, put one foot in front of the other so that your front foot is pointing toward the camera, and then lean your weight on your back foot. Now smile. - Put your hand on your hip.
Another thing a lot of ladies do especially plus-sized is to put their hand on their hip. This ensures their arm isn’t flattened against their body, which can make the upper arms look fat. - Photograph from above.
Another trick to making yourself look skinny in pictures is to angle your camera slightly above your face which will help to elongate your neck and body. - Put your tongue on the roof of your mouth before you smile.
When you let your tongue touch the roof of your mouth preferably the area just beyond your teeth – while smiling, it will help tighten the area underneath your chin, which gives you a more defined and chiselled look. - Cross your legs at the ankles and not the knees.
When sitting you can move to the edge of your seat and cross your legs at the ankle. This will help make your legs look thinner and avoid the appearance of cellulite. - Stand or Sit tall.
When taking pictures, you need to stop slouching. In fact, you need to stop slouching generally. Good posture has so many benefits and the added bonus is it adds length to your frame. - Dress in darker colours or tones.
We are not saying you should dress in black all the days of your life, but opting for darker clothing can make you look slimmer, especially in pictures.
