Nigeria has produced some of the biggest celebrities out of this continent. And some of these are quite wealthy.

Just like their counterparts in the western world, Nigerian celebrities wear designer clothes, drive expensive cars and buy luxurious mansions too.  In fact, some of them have gone on to buy some beautiful houses in the United States.

On Tuesday, former rapper, Freestyle, joined the long list of Nigerian celebs with houses in the United States of America. He took to Instagram to announce the purchase of his pretty brand new edifice in Maryland, USA.

While we congratulate him for this achievement, let’s take a look at 6 Nigerian celebrities who own houses in the U.S. (aside Freestyle):

Reports hit the news in 2013 when one member of the defunct ‘P-square’ duo, Peter Okoye, announced the purchase of a new house in San Francisco, USA.

  1. Paul Okoye

Peter’s twin brother followed not to long after when he announced the purchase of his mansion in Atlanta, Georgia in 2015.

  1. Davido

Pop superstar, Davido acquired a beautiful retro-styled house in Atlanta in 2015 too.

  1. Wizkid

Nigeria’s Starboy, Wizkid followed suit in 2016 when he purchased a massive mansion in Los Angeles, California.

  1. Williams Uchemba

Nollywood actor and philanthropist, Williams Uchemba last year February announced the purchase of a beautiful mansion also in Los Angeles, California.

  1. Georgina Onuoha

Another Nollywood celebrity, actress Georgina Onuoha also joined the list last year when she announced the purchase of a house at Sacramento, USA.
