The Parliament building: This building is the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary, and one of the popular tourist attractions and is currently the largest building in Hungary and also the tallest building in Budapest. If you are just going to look at it from outside, you don’t have to pay anything. But to get inside, you will have to join the tour inside the Parliament and it will cost a small fee. The main attraction is, of course, the Buda Castle, a palace that has been razed and rebuilt over centuries and is now home to the National Gallery and History Museum. The courtyards and its grounds are free to roam but you have to pay a small fee if you want to enter the castle and check out the gallery and museum.
  6. Stroll in the City Park: The City Park is one of the best free things to do in Budapest. This is the largest park in the city with a lot of things to see and do with people of all age groups. The park entertains many events and festivals for the year which makes it a wonderful area to explore, walk, relax or find something to eat.
