The ace comedienne and actress recently;y bagged a Ph.d from the University of Lagos, Unilag. Helen had The Who is who in the entertainment scene show up for her convocation held April 4th and also ensured she remained on the lips of people for a long time to come with her dedication speech to her mum. Helen in the speech revealed she was conceived via rape while thanking her mum and dedicating the Ph.D to her. In her words;
” I HELEN PAUL dedicate this to my mum, you gave birth to me out of rape, they told you i wouldn’t amount to anything

She can be dubbed the queen of doctorate degrees as she first received her first doctorate – Doctor of Humane Letters in 2016 from John Hopkins University. Then In 2017, the Purple Hibiscus author, bagged two doctorate degrees from Haverford College and the University of Edinburgh, respectively. In 2018, the University of London, awarded Adichie with an Honorary Doctor of Literature Degree (D.Litt).
