We focused on quality this time. On how she put the movie together, Nnaji said; ”For money, we had to self-fund unfortunately, she says, we don’t have adequate funding for movies that we actually intend to go global, there isn’t that provision yet.”

The movie produced by the actress in 2018 tells the story of a young lady named Adaeze Obiagu who plans on helping her dad with his company when it became known he could no longer run his company due to health issues. She eventually did with the help of his brother portrayed by actor Nkem Owoh.

The movie basically revolves around a couple who were struggling with their marriage and decided on a road trip in hopes they can work things out.


This 2010 movie revolves around two sisters portrayed by Genevieve and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde.  Nnaji who played the role of Chioma traveled to the United States to help her sister Anya (Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde) who is being charged with the murder of three men to include her own husband.

Mirror Boy

The movie released in 2011, tells the story of a young African British boy who was taken back to the land of his mother’s birth but gets mysteriously lost in a foreboding forest which causes him to embark on a magical journey back home that teaches him many life lessons.

Power of Love

This 2002 movie happens to be a favourite of most Genevieve Nnaji fan. The movie which featured Ramsey Nouah and Stephanie Okereke centered around an obsessed ex, a huge secret among the characters, and a fight that eventually led to the villain’s death.
