4 Things You Should STOP Doing on Social Media this 2019

The social media world is a world based on interactions. You get to connect to several people all around the world using the different social media platforms.

Many companies also use social media to campaign and sometimes learn more about their employees.

However, one thing nobody wants is to be seen in a negative light on social media. To avoid this in 2019, there are some things you shouldn’t do/ stop doing online. Here are my top 5 things you should NOT do on social media platforms:

1. Do NOT post anything without confirming it first

We are currently in the era of fake news. I don’t know why, but its like a few people derive joy in fabricating information and posting it online for people to spread. So before you make any post concerning information, make sure you confirm its authenticity first. Also, always proofread your posts for mistakes or errors before posting.

2. Do NOT engage online trolls

Trolling is gradually starting to get old, but people still do it. if you see an unfavorable comment from a troll or hater, just let it be.  Replying them will just be a waste of time and energy.

3. Do NOT try to do everything

One mistake some peole make is that they try to be on all social media platforms and do everything. Truthfully, that is not possible. You can’t be on all and give all the same attention. Rather pick a few and focus on them.

4. Do NOT stalk or compare

It is 2019. It is time to stop stalking that ex. It is time to move on. Also, try as much as possible not to compare yourself to people based on their social media posts. It could always be a farce and you’d be giving yourself unnecessary cause to worry.

Social media is supposed to be fun and entertaining. Do not make it bad for you be engaging in/continuing to do some of the things I mentioned above. Just be yourself and live your best life!
