The Nollywood actress dated fellow actor Kunle Coker earlier in her career. During an interview, Genevieve confirmed thats he did date Kunle but slammed claims that he was the one who brought her into the movie industry. “Yes, Kunle Coker was actually my boyfriend, but he did not bring me into the industry”.
Ramsey Nouah
Although married now, Ramsey Nouah was consistently linked with Genevieve for many years. Ramsey in an interview addressing rumors of a relationship, he said “It is quite funny. I think everybody just tried to marry Genevieve and I before we actually got close. I didn’t shoot much movies with Genevieve like I did with other actresses. I think I shot five movies with her. I have never had such feeling for her. We were just colleagues who wanted you people to feel the way you are feeling now. It tells you that we played our roles very well.”

The pair dated a few years ago and Genevieve even appeared in one of the singer’s video. Speaking on their relations In 2013, D’Banj said hge planned on marrying Genevieve. “Apart from the fact that she is my friend, she has been a part of my success. There is no way you are going to tell my story that Genevieve’s name will not come up because she featured in my biggest song of all time, Fall in Love. So if E True Story comes to Nigeria to interview me, she will definitely be called upon to tell my story,” he said.
The actress in an interview a few years ago denied dating the singer though, as she kept maintaining she wanted to keep her life private.
“I don’t want to talk about my private life. I don’t do it. I am well aware that people will say things. People have been calling me to find things out, but I am not going to say anything. I have learnt over the years that no matter what I say, people will say and believe what they like, you can not please everybody. This is my own way of handling things. I just don’t talk about my private life. It’s the one thing I can control”

Patt in an interview admitted he dated Genevieve and does not regret dating the Nollywood actress Genevieve on her part said Patt is like a big brother to him and they never dated.
