3 Times CR7 Has Gone On Rampage To Help His Team

On Wednesday, 5-time Balon D’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates at Juventus lost the first leg encounter of their round of 16 match against Atletico Madrid.

The Italian giants had a poor game defensively and were condemned to defeat by two late goals. Their attacking players also had a poor outing even with 5 time Champions League winner, CR7 in their ranks.

The Portuguese forward was booed by Madrid fans all through the game and even with his seeming defiant reply (CR7 held up 5 fingers to remind the Atletico Madrid fans that he had won 5 UCL trophies while they had none), he left the pitch with his tail hanging in between his legs.

However, if there is anybody that can turn a game on its head, then it’s Cristiano Ronaldo. He has done this times without number, single handedly taking his team up from losing positions. CR7 has the ability to create something out of absolutely nothing and he has done that incredibly several times before.

Just in case you doubt the heroic abilities of this amazing forward, here are 3 times he has shown he is the real G.O.A.T and gone on rampage to help his team:

  1. CR7 Vs Sweden

While trying to secure qualification for the 2014 World Cup, Portugal played an all-or-nothing match against Sweden. When they fell 2-0 behind through goals from Zlatan Ibrahimovic, CR7 activated his inner G.O.A.T and scored a hat trick to help his country to a 3-2 victory and qualification to the World Cup.

  1. CR7 Vs Wolfsburg

While he was still playing in Spain for Real Madrid, CR7 helped his team overturn a 2-0 first leg deficit when he scored an incredible hat trick in the second leg game. Real Madrid won that game 3-0 and went on to win the trophy that year with CR7 topping the goal scorers list.

  1. CR7 Vs Spain

Cristiano and his Portuguese team mates faced a real test when they played against Spain in their first match of the 2018 World cup. However, they had nothing to worry about as CR7 went on rampage, scoring a hat trick, including a stunning late free kick to make sure Portugal left the game with at least a point.

So Juventus fans and CR7 fans should have no reason to worry. Atletico Madrid may have a 2 goal advantage, but you have a Cristiano Ronaldo. After all, he has done it before, he can do it again.
