Swelling in the Legs

If the heart is not pumping enough blood it may lead to congestion of the blood in the leg veins, as a result, the legs get swollen. Besides, in cases of heart failure, the kidneys don’t function as well which may also lead to swelling in the legs.


The heart may change its own rhythm even if you’re not nervous at the moment, but if it lasts longer than a few seconds or happens too often – you should tell the cardiologist about it.
