Fast-rising Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has continued to rise in the industry with her very acting skill. The actress who hit the limelight a few years ago, has come to become the favorite of many and has continued to garner fans daily.

Bimbo recenlt found herself in the news after it emerged that she may be dating singer Phlex. Bimbo came out to deny this saying;

“There is absolutely nothing of such between us. He’s my cousin’s friend and that’s it. I just did a cameo appearance in his video because of his affiliation with my cousin. On a normal day I won’t do it. It is absolutely not true at all. I don’t even want to entertain it in any form.

1. She was born and raised in Lagos state to Mr and Mrs Adekunle Ademoye.

2. Bimbo attended St. Margaret’s Primary School, Ikorodu, Lagos. She had her secondary education at Mayflower Secondary School, Ikenne, Ogun State.

3. Bimbo has a degree from Covenant University.

4. Bimbo began her acting career began in 2014. She acted in the movie Where Talent Lies.

5. She was taken to her first-ever audition by her dad.

My dad fully supported me. He even took me to my first audition. I mean, my dad raised me alone as he was a single father; so, it was the only opinion that mattered and he was in full support.

6. Uduak Isong is her mentor.

I’ve always had the passion for acting since I was a kid. It just had to be acting. I started by going for auditions. I went for every audition that I heard of and could find. Eventually, I got discovered by the amazing Uduak Isong-Oguamanam. The first movie I acted in was a short film by Eva George titled, Where Talent Lies.

7. She bagged two nominations at the 2018 Best of Nollywood Awards and won the award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

8. Bimbo again bagged a nomination at the 2018 City People Movie Awards. She was nominated for Revelation of the Year, Best New Actress and Best Upcoming Actress.

9. She has acted alongside top acts in the movie industry.

10. She is a big fan of Kerry Washington and Tiffany Haddish.

I admire Kerry Washington and Tiffany Haddish. I will also like to work with Genevieve Nnaji. As an actor, I look forward to being other people. As long as the character/role is relatable and emphatic, I’m up for it.
