She is a bundle of talent who has found her way into the hearts of Nigerian movie lovers.
Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah was born in 1983 in Toronto before she moved to Ghana with her mom at the age of 10.

1. She was born Jackie Agyemang Appiah on 5 December 1983 in Toronto. Jackie is also the last of 5 children.
2. Jackie moved to Ghana with her mother at the age of 10.
3. Jackie participated in the Talent Teens Competition and was the runner up. She began acting at the tender age of 12 in her church group.
4. She made her acting debut in 2001 after she was invited by Edward Seddoh to play the role of Enyonam Blagogee. On the first time she went on set, Appiah said;

“It was a Venus Film Production titled Divine Love and I had to play the role of Kate, the protagonist. I didn’t believe I did too good. I fumbled but, many people did not notice it.”
5. She has acted in top movies to include the movie ‘Beyoncé” which she acted in alongside top Ghanaian actors like Van Vicker and Nadia Buari.
6. Jackie also carved a spot for herself in Nollywood, acting in movies such as Black Soul, and Bitter Blessing alongside actor Ramsey Noah.
7. She has snagged so many endorsement deals to include GSMF advert on protection against HIV AIDS, U.B, IPMC.
8. In 2013, Jackie won the Best International Actress award at the Papyrus Magazine Screen Actors Awards (PAMSAA) 2013. She has also gone on to win numerous other awards.
9. She tied the knot with Peter Agyeman in 2005 and the couple has a son named Damien. They, however, ended things three years later.
10. Jackie snagged the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) for best-supporting actress in 2007. In 2008 she won the Best Upcoming Actress of the year at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA).
