A couple of entertainers actually found their partners on set and here are 10 Nollywood actors who met their partners on set.

Olu and Joke Jacobs

The couple met in 1981 at the National Arts Theatre during the 21st Independence anniversary. Olu Jacobs during an interview opened up on how he met and wooed his wife. In his words;

That is very wrong. I was invited to come and do a play in Nigeria by the National Theatre. I was living in England at that time. I was to play lead in Wole Soyinka’s The Trials of Brother Jero.We were having the production when the door opened and this lady walked in and said sorry, we are ready. When she walked in I said excuse me ladies and gentlemen, this is the lady I am going to marry. You know bodies can attract and bodies can repel. I saw her and I was attracted. I am not an impulsive person. I did not just say come. I had to struggle to get her. She was stunned even though she gave me up and down. (laughter).

Zack and Ngozi Orji

The couple met in the early 90’s after starring in the movie ‘Deadly Passion’ where Ngozi played the role of his side chick. The couple has been married for 29 years now and have 3 children together.

Ireti and Patrick Doyle

Ireti met her husband Patrick on the set of a movie, She was in her 3rd year in the university then and met Patrick who was the director of the movie she had gone for. The couple has since separated. They have 6 kids between them.

Nobert and Gloria Young

Gloria shot into the limelight after her role in the hit movie Glamour Girls. She met her husband on the set of a movie and the couple has been together for more than 10 years.
