People always have something to say at the oddest time which can be unhealthy for your time, the best way to avoid this is to clearly state you’re busy or better still you can schedule a meeting that will fit into your leisure time.
QUICKLY END UNNECESSARY CONVERSATIONS
When people tend to chatter and talk on and on and on, it’s good to cut the conversation short to continue with the tasks ahead. Politely say “one last thing before I go”, this quickly pulls the person into reality.
As silly as it may sound, it has proved effective to set offbeat times in other to maximize your time. So instead of setting your alarm to 5:45 am why not try 5:37 am so that the remaining 8 minutes will used to really get your head straight.
COMPLETE THE IMPORTANT THINGS FIRST
It is always better to prioritize your objectives, in the order of importance so as to quickly attend to pressing issues first and working your way down to the least important. This not only feels better, but will ease you from any stress and confusion along the way.
