Dakore Egbuson-Akande and Timini

The pair are both actors in Nollywood and since emerging on our screens have continued to churn out really entertaining movies. Speaking on his sister, Timini in an interview revealed that she is, in fact, a role model to him.

She is like a role model. I look up to her in terms of life generally, even aside from career; she is an amazing woman. The values that she holds in life are stuffs that I have emulated. I think that’s what has brought me to where I am today. If you ask around, everyone will tell you that I am a good person, so basically, that’s what it has been. She’s been like a role model. She was successful in acting and I saw that success is something that can happen; it is something you can sustain. You can have life; you can have everything you need. It’s like going into a career, you want to go into farming and you know a farmer that is successful. That gives you the hope, the motivation to actually dive with both feet in and see what can come out of it. So, for every step of the way, she has pushed me, she has motivated me.

Don Jazzy and D’Prince

Nigerian producer Michael Collins Ajereh aka Don Jazzy and his artiste brother D’Prince are another siblings doing great things in the music industry. D’Prince was signed to his brother’s label before leaving. They have worked on a couple of projects together as well.

Paul, Peter and Jude Okoye

Peter and Paul Okoye formed the group Psqaure and for a long time released really great music. The brother Jude, worked as their manager until the group separated in 2017.

Dbanj and K-Switch

Popular singer and businessman D’banj is an artiste with little or no introduction. Dbanj, who co-owned Mo’Hits record with producer Don Jazzy, had his brother the same label before leaving to his own record, DB Records. He signed his brother to the label as well.

MI and Jesse Jagz

Jude Abaga, also known as M.I is one of the few rappers on the scene who have made sure they release great music. M.I, is the elder brother to fellow rapper Jesse Garba Abaga, aka Jesse Jagz. Both were signed to Chocolate City Records before Jesse let to start his own record label,Jagz Nation.

Gabriel, Kunle and Aremu Afolayan

Kunle, Gabriel and Aremu are all sons of foremost 70’s filmmaker Adelove. The brothers have since gone on to become ones to contend with in Nollywood.
